On the Feast of Trumpets, a trumpet blast rang out for all to hear. It was a Holy Day, a memorial of blowing of trumpets. What does the term “blowing of trumpets” actually mean? What should be in our spiritual hearing of a trumpet on the Feast of Trumpets? What should be remembered? God says, on this Holy Convocation, remember when the trumpet blasted, remember when the alarm sounded, remember when the signal was given, remember when the clash was heard! It is a day of looking forward to the return of Jesus Christ, but it is also a day to look back and remember the sound of the trumpet!
